Submarine optical fiber হল একটি সমুদ্র ও সমুদ্রপ্রান্ত জুড়ে টেলিযোগাযোগের সংকেত বহন কারী মাধ্যম। পাথর যুক্ত একটি কেবিল তার 1850 এর দশকে প্রথম সাবমেরিন যোগাযোগের ট্রাফিক বহন করে। ধীরে ধীরে তা টেলিফনিক ট্রাফিক থেকে শুরু করে আজ আধুনিক ডিজিটাল ডেটা ও বহন করার ক্ষমতা রাখে যার দরুন টেলিফোন, ইন্টারনেট ও ব্যক্তিগত ডেটা ট্রান্সফার করা সম্ভব।
এই fiber দ্বারা ই আজ চেন্নাই হতে আন্দামান পর্যন্ত সমুদ্রতীর থেকে সমুদ্র অন্তর্ভুক্ত 2300 কিলোমিটার এলাকার মধ্যে দিয়ে যোগাযোগ সম্পন্ন করা হয়েছে। পাশাপাশি আন্দামান এর 12 টি দ্বীপের মধ্যে সংযোগ বাড়ানো, রাজ্যভিত্তিক -
আধুনিক তাঁর গুলি প্রায় 25 মিলিমিটার ব্যাসের হয়।গভীর সমুদের ক্ষেত্রে প্রায় 1.4 টন ওজন যা মাইল প্রতি 2.5 লিটার ও মাইল প্রতি 2.2 লম্বা টন হয়ে থাকে।
এই কেবিল বা Submarine optical fiber এর cross section করলে দেখা যায় এটি 8 টি layer দ্বারা গঠিত। ক্রমানুসারে ভেতর হতে বাইরে -

2) Malar tape
3) Stranded steel wires
4) Aluminum water barrier

1) 12 টি island এ high impact project
2) Road, air, water physical connectivity
3) North ও Middle Andaman এর মধ্যে দুটি বড় ব্রিজ, National highway- NH4 এর চওড়া বৃদ্ধি।
4) 1200 যাত্রীদের একসাথে সুব্যবস্থা port Blair airport এ।
5) Airport operation for 3 islands
6) swaraj dweep, shahid dweep ও long island এ passenger terminal ও flowting jati
7) উড়ান যোজনা র মাধ্যমে প্রতিটি islands এর মধ্যে দ্রুত যোগাযোগ।
8) বড় বড় জাহাজ এর repairing center
এই পদক্ষেপ বাস্তবায়ন হলে বাড়বে online education facilities, দ্রুত যোগাযোগ বহি: ও অন্তর বিশ্বের সাথে, হবে tourism industry র বিস্তার, উন্নয়ন হবে ship making industry, fishary, aqua culture, see breed farming, সুবিধা হবে সমস্ত official - non official person দের যারা বাড়ি হতে দূরে রয়েছেন, বাড়বে সামাজিক মেলবন্ধন, সংস্কৃতির প্রসার, banking system facilities, online transactions, e- marketing, hotel development, resort implement, living standard, economical growth, local development ইত্যাদি।
তবে এর সাথে বাড়বে আন্তর্জাতিক স্তরে asia Pacific region এ বর্হি বিশ্বের সাথে বানিজ্যিক চুক্তি, সামরিক মহরা, উন্নত যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা, বন্ধু সুলভ মানসিকতা যা আগামী দিনে চীনের আগ্রাসী মনোভাবকে কিছুটা তরান্বিত করবে।

Implementation of this measure will increase online education facilities, rapid communication with the outside world, expansion of tourism industry, development of ship making industry, fisheries, aqua culture, see breed farming, facilities for all official - non official people who are home.
