ক্রমাগত পাকিস্তানের আস্পর্ধা পূর্ণ মনোভাব UN Forum এ কাশ্মীরের বিষয়ে, ভারতকে সমগ্র বিশ্বের কাছে ছোট করার প্রচেষ্টায় এই প্রথমবার শক্ত হাতে জবাব দিল ভারত। স্বষ্ট ভাবে UN Forum এ জানিয়ে দেওয়া হল যে ভারত এই বার কাশ্মীরের বিষয়ে কথা বললে কেবল মাত্র পাক্ অধিকৃত কাশ্মীর বিষয়েই কথা বলবে। কবে পাকিস্তান সেই স্থান কে মুক্ত করবে? বহুবছর পূর্বেই ভারত ভূখন্ডের সঙ্গে article 370 ও artical 35A দ্বারা সংযোগ স্থাপন হয়েছিল কাশ্মীরের। এত দিন পর্যন্ত তার অস্তিত্ব ও বজায় ছিল।কিন্তু কালক্রমে কাশ্মীরের পরিস্থিতিকে মাথায় রেখে সেইখান কার নাগরিকদের পরিপূর্ণ অধিকার ও প্রাপ্তমর্যাদা সুরক্ষিত করার লক্ষ্যে artical 370 ও artical 35A কে সম্পূর্ণ ভাবে নির্মূল করা হয়েছে। এমত অবস্থায় কাশ্মীর প্রসঙ্গে আন্তর্জাতিক স্তরে কথা উঠলে, কাশ্মীরকে ভারতের অংশ বলে গন্য করা হয়েছে। তবে article 370 ও artical 35A কে সম্পূর্ণ রূপে লুপ্ত করার জন্য কেবলমাত্র কট্টরপন্থী মালয়েশিয়া ও তুর্কী বিরোধীতা পোষণ করে। কিন্তু অন্যান্য কোন দেশ ই এই বিষয়ে কোন প্রকার ধারনা জ্ঞাপন করে নি। তবে এই প্রথমবার ভারতের শক্ত পোক্ত জবাব ভারতের সহনশীলতার মাত্রাকে উলঙ্ঘন করার সংকেত বহন করছে। তবে পাকিস্তান ভূখন্ডে চীনের ক্রমাগত দাপাদাপি ভারতকে কিছুটা হলেও ভাবিয়ে তুলবে। এক্ষেত্রে পাকিস্তানের স্বতন্ত্রতা নিয়েও প্রশ্ন ওঠে। চীন সরকার ও কিছুটা দ্বন্ধের মুখে পাকিস্তানের আর্থিক ঋণ ফেরতের ক্ষেত্রে।
