ভারত কৃষিভিত্তিক দেশ। ক্রমাগত ভারতের কৃষির উন্নতি, বেড়েওঠা বিপুল জনসংখ্যার আহারের চাহিদাকে মিটিংয়ে বিদেশেও পারি দিচ্ছে।গতবছরের তুলনায় এই বছরে Agricultural sector এ আর্থিক বৃদ্ধি হয়েছে ৪৩.৪% যা প্রায় ৩৭,৩৫৭ কোটি টাকা থেকে বেড়ে ৫৩,৬২৬ কোটি টাকায় পৌঁছেছে।

আজ কোভিদ পরিস্থিতিতে, কৃষিজ চিনি, চাল, মশলা, organic যৌগ, ফল সবকিছুর চাহিদা বিদেশের মাটিতে বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে। বর্তমানে অতিমাত্রায় উৎপাদনের সাথে সাথে quality, export oriented materials, food supply chain কেও লক্ষ‍্য দেওয়া এক্ষেত্রে কেবল উৎপাদনের সাথে সাথে food processing industry, packaging, export এর জন‍্য value addition, demand creation কে মাথায় রেখে ব‍্যবসায়িক ভিত্তিতে কৃষিজ পন‍্যের export কে গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হচ্ছে। এই বছর এমনিতেই কৃষিজ পন‍্য ঊৎপাদনের উপযুক্ত জলবায়ু এসেছে ভারতে। কোভিদ পরিস্থিতিতে সমগ্রবিশ্ব যখন খাদ‍্য গ্রহনের জন‍্য health কে মাথায় রাখছে, তখন ভারতের নাম সবার আগে আসছে বিশ্বে। তাই জলবায়ুর অনুকূলে উৎপাদনের মাত্রা বৃদ্ধিতে বৈদেশিক বানিজ‍্য ও ভারতের agriculture কে যথেষ্ট বাড়িয়ে তুলেছে। organic farming এর উপরেও জোর দেওয়া হয়েছে। export এর বৃদ্ধির জন‍্য APEDA platform কে সঙ্গে নিয়ে কিছু export oriented policy কে আরও গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হচ্ছে। cluster এর সঙ্গে APEDA এর যোগসূত্র কৃষককে সরাসরি রপ্তানির জন‍্য সাহায্য করেছে।

এই রকম export oriented policy গুলি হল -

1) list of notified cluster.

2) list of state nodal agencies for implementation of AEP.

3) AEP Implementation & cluster development.

4) ADP state wise summary progress report.

5) presentation on Agri market reform - The farmers produce Trade & Commerce ( promotion & facilitation ) ordinance, 2020.

6) presentation on agriculture reforms - Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers welfare.

7) Details of Agri - cells created on Indian Embassy Abroad.

ভারতে কেবল Policy নয়, উন্নত port এর ব‍্যবস্থা, port এর যথেষ্ট storage facility, যেকোন বস্তুকে জাহাজে তোলার জন‍্য উপযুক্ত ব‍্যবস্থা, port এর সহিত connectivity বাড়ানোর জন‍্য উন্নত রাস্তাঘাট নির্মান যথেষ্ট পরিমানে বৃদ্ধি করা হয়েছে। আজ ভারত প্রায় ১৭ টি product কে export এর জন‍্য নির্ধারিত করেছে বিপুল পরিমানে যা প্রায় ১৫ মিলিয়ন এর কাছাকাছি, একটা সময় যা ছিল ১০ -১১ মিলিয়ন এর মত।

আজ জ‍্যাম, জ‍েলি, organic fertilizer, healthy food, বাসমতি চাল, চিনি, মশলার demand যথেষ্ট বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে।প্রায় ১৬০ টি দেশে ভারতীয় দূতাবাসের সহযোগিতায় ও বিভিন্ন সময় বিভিন্ন committee গঠনের মাধ্যমে দেশের সম্পদ বিদেশের মাটিতে জায়গা করে নিচ্ছে। road connectivity ও digital connectivity র মাধ‍্যমে চাষিদেরকে সরাসরি জুড়ে দেওয়া সম্ভব হয়েছে কেন্দ্রীয় বা রাজ‍্য সরকারের কৃষিদপ্তরের সঙ্গে, তাতে চাষিদের মুনাফা বৃদ্ধির সাথে সাথে exporting ও বেড়েছে। সম্প্রতি ভারত সরকারের Agricultural investment fund চাষিদের উৎপাদনেও সুরক্ষা প্রদান করেছে। তাই বলতেই হয়  উপযুক্ত technology, connectivity, digital portal, govt subsidies, policy, আর্থিক সহায়তা, চাষিদের তরফে quality product তৈরীতে, standarity maintain এ, APEDA এর সাহায‍্য ভারতীয় কৃষিকে বানিজ‍্যিক ক্ষেত্রে ও সমৃদ্ধ করে তুলতে মুখ‍্য ভূমিকা পালন করেছে।

English Translation :

India is an agricultural country.  Continuous improvement in India's agriculture, meeting the growing food needs of the growing population, is also meeting abroad.Compared to last year, the financial growth in the agricultural sector has increased by 43.4% this year, which has increased from about Tk 36,357 crore to Tk 53,626 crore.

 Today, in the Kovid situation, the demand for agricultural sugar, rice, spices, organic compounds, fruits has increased in foreign lands.  At present, along with overproduction, quality, export oriented materials, food supply chain are also being targeted. In this case, along with production, export of agricultural products on commercial basis is being given importance keeping in mind the value addition, demand creation for food processing industry, packaging, export.  This year, India has already come up with a suitable climate for agricultural production.  In the Kovid situation, when the whole world is keeping health in mind for food intake, India's name is coming first in the world.  Therefore, increasing the level of production in favor of climate has significantly increased foreign trade and agriculture in India.  Emphasis has also been placed on organic farming.  In order to increase exports, some export oriented policies are being given more importance with APEDA platform.  APEDA's link with cluster has helped farmers to export directly.

 In India, not only the policy, but also the improved port system, adequate storage facility of the port, suitable system for lifting any object on the ship, construction of improved roads to increase connectivity with the port has been substantially increased.  Today, India has set about 18 products for export in huge quantities, which is around 15 million, a time when it was around 10-11 million.

 Today, the demand for jams, jellies, organic fertilizers, healthy food, basmati rice, sugar, spices has increased considerably. The country's resources are taking place in foreign lands through the cooperation of Indian embassies in about 180 countries and the formation of various committees at different times.  Through road connectivity and digital connectivity, it has been possible to connect farmers directly with the Department of Agriculture of the Central or State Governments, which has increased exports as well as increased farmers' profits.  Recently, the Agricultural Investment Fund of the Government of India has also provided protection to farmers in production.  This is to say that appropriate technology, connectivity, digital portal, govt subsidies, policy, financial support, quality product development on behalf of farmers, in maintaining parity, with the help of APEDA has played a major role in enriching Indian agriculture commercially.
