ক্রমাগত বেড়ে ওঠা Covid মহামারি আবার নতুন করে তার আখরা বাড়িয়ে তুলছে ভারতের সমগ্র রাজ্যে। এই সমস্ত রাজ্যগুলির মধ্যে মহারাষ্ট্রের স্থান সর্বপ্রথম। ক্রমাগত education, counciling এর দ্বারাও তাদেরকে covid থেকে বাঁচানোর পন্থাগুলিকে মানানো সম্ভব হচ্ছে না। তাই এই পরিস্থিতির নিরিখে মহারাষ্ট্র সরকার আগামী ৩০ শে এপ্রিল পর্যন্ত lockdown maintain করার সিন্ধান্ত গ্রহন করেছে। এই সিন্ধান্তটি কোন স্থানে night carfue, কিছু ঘন্টার brake বা সম্পূর্ণ lockdown এর মাধ্যমে সম্পন্ন হতে পারে।
এই প্রাদুর্ভাবে উত্তরপ্রদেশের পরিস্থিতিও কোন অংশে কম নয়। এলাহাবাদ কোর্টের Judge দের মতানুযায়ী, ঐ স্থানের সকল নাগরিকদের কেবলমাত্র জরুরি পরিষেবার জন্যই ঘর থেকে বেড়োনোর নির্দেশ জ্ঞাপন করা হয়েছে। এর পাশাপাশি, জরুরি পরিষেবা স্থান যেমন- পেট্রোল পাম্প, নির্মান কার্য, life saving স্থান গুলিকে কেবলমাত্র নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের মধ্যেই খোলা রাখার নির্দেশ জারি করেছে।
Economical ধাক্কার কথা মাথায় রেখে food supply chain, infrastructure এর স্থান গুলিকে সম্পূর্ন স্তরে বন্ধ করার কোন সিন্ধান্ত না দিলেও সেখানে human being দের মেলামেশায় "দো গজ দুরি", sanitizer use সবই কার্যকারী হবে বর্তমানে লাক্ষের থেকেও বেশী পরিমানে কোভিদের আখরার জন্য।
বর্তমানে দ্বিতীয়বার এই মহামারির প্রাদুর্ভাব বড় আকারে ছরিয়ে পরার আগেই তার cyclic chain কে brake করার সম্পূর্ণ প্রয়াস করা হচ্ছে। এটিই বর্তমানে বোঝার বিষয় যে, কেবলমাত্র এই cyclic chain brake, সীমিত সময়ের পরিষরে এটি কি সঠিক সিন্ধান্ত নাকি পূর্বের মতই বেশ কিছু দিনের লম্বা লকডাউন ই প্রকৃতপক্ষে প্রয়োজন। বর্তমানে covid এর পরিস্থিতিকে বর্নণা করতে গিয়ে এটি বলতেই হয় যে, এই দ্বিতীয় বার বৃহত্তর আকারে সংক্রমিত symptoms এর কিছু ভিন্ন।
পূর্বে একটি পরিবারে একজন বা দুজনেরই এই covid এ সংক্রমিত হবার সম্ভাবনা ছিল তবে বর্তমানে একটি পরিবারে এক জন এতে সংক্রমিত হলে সকল member রাই এই রোগের স্বীকার হচ্ছে, বাদ যাচ্ছে না বাচ্চা থেকে ৩৫ -৪৫ বছরের যুবকেরাও। তবে এর মধ্যেও কিছুটা আশার আলো পর্ষবর্ষিত হচ্ছে তা হল তাড়াতাড়ি recovery rate। তবে এই সংক্রমন বিপুল আকারে ছড়িয়ে পরার আগেই হসপিটাল গুলিতে bed এর ঘার্তি দেখা যাচ্ছে, তার সাথে রয়েছে অক্সিজেন সিলিন্ডারের ঘার্তি। ভ্যকসিনের নিরিখে দেখতে গেলে বেশ কিছু রাজ্য এখনো তার supply chain নিয়ে প্রশ্ন তুলছে। তাই এখনো ভারতীয় health sector এ এই মহামারিকে আটকানোর জন্য প্রকৃত infrastructure নেই। এই পরিস্থিতিতে ভারতীয় government কে এই supply chain এর উদ্দেশ্যে সার্বিক স্তরে এবং রাজ্য স্তরে ভ্যকসিন supply কে সঠিক করতে হবে।
