ভারতের সার্বিক উন্নতি কিভাবে সম্ভব?আমাদের কে ছোট থেকে বলা হয় Charity begins at home কিন্তু charity begins কিভাবে সম্ভব?বিহার,উত্তরপ্রদেশ,রাচী,পাটনা,ঝাড়খন্ড আজও কাস্টিসিজমের জালে জরিত,গোটা এলাকায়।মোটা dowry,বড় গাড়ি,সবই জোটে বিয়ের আসরে।যেন তার wife কে সে টাকা দিয়ে কিনছে।মেয়ে যতই শিক্ষিত হোক চাকরি করুক বা না করুক কোন কারনে তার পছন্দে বিয়ে করলে পরবর্তী কোন ভাই বা বোনের বিয়ে দেওয়া অসম্ভব হয়ে পরে,সেই পরিবারকে একঘোরে হতে হয় সমাজথেকে।মেয়েটির ক্ষমতা,মেয়েটির গুন,তার শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা টা importance ই রাখে না কারোর কাছে।অথচ ভাল ছেলে পাওয়া মানেই বড় সড় dowry দেওয়া,ভাল চাকরি করা ছেলে,আর যদি engg হয় sell, veal ongc তে চাকরি করে বা civil service এর তকমা থাকে তো আর কি দরকার?মেয়েদের বাবা মায়েদের একটাই চিন্তা করতে হয় যত টাকা dowry তে দিতে পারবে ততই ভালোছেলে পাবে।শিক্ষিত ছেলেগুলো মুখে কোন কথাই বলতে পারে না অন‍্যায় দেখে বাবা মায়েদের উপর কথা বলবে এটা দুর্বিশহ তাদের কাছে। সাথে আরও আছে,বংশ রক্ষাও তাদের একটি রীতি,মেয়ে কটা জন্মালো তার কোন ভ্রুক্ষেপ নেই ছেলে চাই ই must।তাইতো বলছি কোথায় হবে charity begins at home?একটি মেয়ে কলেজের গন্ডি পেরলো কি পেরলো না বলা হয় যে তার বিয়ের বয়স হয়ে গেছে,বিয়ে হলে বাচ্চাটাও নিতে হবে তাড়াতাড়ি।তারপর জীবনে কি কি যে কথা শুনতে হয়।কিছুতো করতে হয় না সারাদিন তো বাড়িতেই থাক তাও এত সমস্যা,কতটুকু বোঝ তুমি চুপ করে থাক,মেয়ে মানুষের অত কথা আসে কোথেকে?সংসার টাও তো ঠিক করে সামলাতে পার না।অতো কি দরকার তোমার সব কিছু জেনে ঘরে আছ ঘরে থাকো।মেয়ে মানুষের অত লাফানো ভালো না।কত কি?কোন মেয়ে যদি চাকরি করে তাহলেও সমস্যা।ঐ এলেন মহারানি দেশ উদ্ধার করে,কাজ করতে যায় না ছাই। 

কেন?এই কথা গুলো ভেসে আসে আমাদের দিকে?কেন একটা মেয়ের  বোঝার ক্ষমতা একটা ছেলের থেকে কম হবে।কেন এত কটুক্তি?কেন?তাই সবার আগে charity begins হতে হলে বাড়ির পুরুষ ও মেয়ে দুজনকেই charity র পাঠ গুলো পরা দরকার তাহলে হয়ত কিছুটা পরিস্থিতি সঠিক হতে পারে।আর তাতে শুধু প্রতিটি ঘরই নয়,সমাজ,দেশকে গড়ে তোলা যাবে স্বচ্ছল, লাবন‍্য, মলিন।একটি পুরুষকে যেমন প্রয়োজন, সাথে এক জন স্ত্রীকে ও।যে কোন সৃষ্টি, তা নাড়ীর সফলতা,আর তার কান্ডারি একটি পুরুষ,তাই মূল‍্যবোধে,মর্যাদায়,সন্মানে charity begins at home এর উদ্দেশ্য তখন ফলপ্রসূ হবে।

How is the overall development of India possible? We are called Charity begins at home from small but how does charity begin? Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rachhi, Patna, Jharkhand are still entangled in the net of casteism, in the whole area. Big dowry, big car, all in wedding halls.  It is as if he is buying his wife with money. No matter how educated the girl is, whether she works or not, if she gets married for any reason, it becomes impossible to marry the next brother or sister.  Qualification is not important to anyone. But to have a good boy means to give a big dowry, a good job boy, and if engg is sell, veal ongc job or have the badge of civil service then what else is needed?  You have to think that as much money as you can give to dowry, you will get a good boy. Educated boys can't say anything in their mouths, they will talk about their parents when they see injustice.  There is also a tradition of protecting the family, they have no eyebrows when a girl is born, they want a boy, so I say, where will the charity begin at home? Does a girl cross the boundaries of college or not?  The baby has to be taken quickly. Then what is there to hear in life. There is no need to do anything. Stay at home all day, it is so much problem, how much do you understand that you are silent, where does so much talk come from, girl? You can't handle the family properly.  What do you need? You are at home knowing everything. Stay at home. It is not good for a girl to jump so much. How much? Even if a girl has a job, there is a problem.

 Why? These words come to us? Why a girl will be less able to understand than a boy. Why is it so harsh? Why? So if charity is to start first, then both men and girls in the house need to read the lessons of charity  It can be. And not just every house, but the society, the country can be built prosperous, beautiful, dirty. As a man needs, as well as a wife.  The purpose of charity begins at home in dignity and respect will then be fruitful.
