Presiding officers দের সম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠীত হচ্ছে বর্তমানে, যেখানে ভারতীয় রাষ্ট্রপতি রামনাথ কোবিদ বলেছেন যে কোন প্রকার কাজ, activities বা decision নেবার পূর্বে debate, discussion, এগুলি সত্যিই প্রয়োজনীয় তবে তা হবার জন্য সেই পরিবেশ সৃষ্টি করাটা ও যথেষ্ট প্রয়োজন। তা নাহলে debate বা discussion থেকে উঠে আসা decision কখনও সঠিক ভাবে স্বার্থকতা লাভ করবে না। বর্তমানে কেন্দ্রীয় পার্লামেন্ট, বিধানসভা, রাজ্যসভা যে কোন স্থানেই ruling party র majority।বর্তমানে বিপক্ষ party র minority এক প্রকার তাদের সংসদে থাকা বা না থাকাটা কে প্রকাশ করে। vote counting এ ruling party র একার সহায়তায় কোন বিল খুব সহজেই পাশ করা সম্ভব। কিন্তু সংসদে বিপক্ষদলের সাংসদ বা বিধায়ক রা নিজস্ব বচসাকে মাত্রাতিরিক্ত পরিমানে বাড়িয়ে তুলেছে। কিছু পূর্বে সংসদে presiding officer রা উঠে দাঁড়ালেই সকলে বসে পড়ত তাদের নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে কিন্তু আজ presiding officials রা উঠে দাঁড়িয়ে তাদের বলেন যে তিনি উঠে দাঁড়িয়েছেন।
