বর্তমানে এই Omicron এর nature পর্যালোচনা করে এই সমন্বীয় কিছু তথ্য জানা যাচ্ছে। সেগুলি হল-
১) এই ভাইরাসের সংক্রমিত করার হার covid এর অন্যান্য variant থেকে যথেষ্ট high।
২) এই variant দ্বারা আক্রান্ত ব্যক্তির, শীঘ্র oxygen level কমার হারও কম।
৩) সংক্রমণের জন্য কোন communication statement অর্থাৎ বিদেশ ভ্রমন বা অন্যান্য historical data ও খুব একটা কার্যকরী হচ্ছে না।
৪) এই ভাইরাসের সংক্রমন লক্ষন খুবই মৃদু অর্থাৎ হালকা সর্দি, কাশির সাথে গলাবেথার সম্ভাবনা।
৫) Scientific research এর দরুণ জানা যাচ্ছে যে, এই ভাইরাসে immune escape mechanism এর ক্ষমতা বর্তমান। সেক্ষেত্রে, ভ্যাকসিনের দরুন প্রাপ্ত শরীরের immunity power কে escape করতে সক্ষম এই ভাইরাস যার দরুন এই variant এর সংক্রমণের হারও অনেক বেশী। তাই বহু বিঞ্জানীদের মতে, এই variant টি সমগ্রবিশ্বের মানবসম্প্রদায়ের কাছে একটি আশির্বাদ সরূপ অর্থাৎ এই ভাইরাস মানবশরীরে নিজে থেকেই অ্যান্টিবডি তৈরীতে সাহায্য করে।
অপরদিকে, প্রশাসনিক স্তরে বিশ্বের প্রতিটি দেশই এই omicron মোকাবেলার তৎপরতা চোখে পরার মত। Omicron এর সাথে covid এর অন্য variant, Delta র মিশ্রপ্রতিক্রিয়াও কিছু দেশের health system কে ক্রমাগত ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করে তুলছে। ইতিমধ্যেই covid মোকাবেলায় ভারতসরকার, August, 2021 এ emergency response package ঘোষনা করেছে, যার প্রায় ২৫% কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের তরফে রাজ্যসরকার গুলিকে সরবরাহ করা হয়েছে। কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের তরফে এই বিপুল অর্থ, additional oxygen cylinder, ICU bed ও testing এর জন্য খরচ করার নির্দেশিকা ও দেওয়া হয়েছে। এমনকি, doctors, pera medical staff, hospital staff দের সুরক্ষার জন্যও কিছু আর্থিক ব্যয় করার সিন্ধান্ত গ্রহন করা হয়েছে। পাশাপাশি, সরকারি হাসপাতাল, রাজ্যমন্ত্রালয় বা congested area গুলিকে সুরক্ষিত করার উদ্দেশ্যে নির্দিষ্ট পরিমাণে investment করার কথাও ভাবা হয়েছে। তবে প্রাথমিক স্তরে এই সংক্রমণকে রুখতে, মানবজাতির ভাইরাস মোকাবেলার উদ্দেশ্যে উপযুক্ত স্বাস্থ্য বিধি মেনে চলারও নির্দেশিকা জারি করা হয়েছে। তাই covid এর second wave মোকাবেলায় যে তৎপরতা গ্রহন করা হয়েছিল প্রায় সেই মতই রাজ্য, কেন্দ্র ও নাগরিকদের মিলিত প্রয়াসে omicron কেও আরও একবার challenge দেখাতে দৃঢ় সংকল্পবন্ধ সকলে, সেক্ষেত্রে সচেতনতাই একমাএ পথ। একে অপরের সাথে সংযুক্ত হয়ে সম্মিলিত প্রয়াসে বিশ্বকে ভাইরাসের করাল গ্রাস থেকে মুক্তির পথে অবলোকন করতে উদ্যত গোটা বিশ্ব।

A new mutation of the covid, Omicron, is about to engulf the world once again with a frightening infection, before the second species of covid is released from the delta infection worldwide. According to the world record, this new variant of covid, Omicron, completes its debut in South Africa by playing the drum. Although Omicron's infection rate is currently declining in South Africa, it is aggressively undermining the world's health system by joining hands with Delta in the world's poorest countries. So at present, the tendency to spread this omicron is most prevalent in the United Kingdom, USA, France, Denmark as well as in India. So in the last 24 hours, the number of omicron infections in USA has reached 5 lakhs, 2 lakhs in France and even in India and its number is about 6½ thousand which has increased drastically in 10 days.
At present, by reviewing the nature of this Omicron, some information about this combination is known. They are-
1) The rate of transmission of this virus is quite high from the uncommon variant of covid.
2) In the person affected by this variant, the rate of rapid decrease in oxygen level is also less.
3) No communication statement for transmission i.e. foreign travel or other historical data is not very effective.
4) The symptoms of infection with this virus are very mild i.e. mild cold, cough and sore throat.
5) Scientific research has shown that the virus has the ability to escape immunity. In that case, the virus is able to escape the body's immunity due to the vaccine, due to which the rate of infection of this variant is much higher. Therefore, according to many scientists, this variant is a blessing to the human community around the world, meaning that the virus helps the human body to produce antibodies on its own.
On the other hand, at the administrative level, every country in the world has to deal with this omicron. The mixed reaction of Delta, another variant of covid with Omicron, is also continuously damaging the health system of some countries. The Government of India has already announced an emergency response package in August, 2021 to address the covid, about 25% of which has been provided by the Central Government to the State Governments. The central government has also given instructions to spend this huge amount for additional oxygen cylinder, ICU bed and testing. It has even been decided to spend some money for the protection of doctors, para medical staff and hospital staff. In addition, a certain amount of investment has been considered for the protection of government hospitals, ministries of state or congested areas. However, in order to prevent this infection at an early stage, guidelines have also been issued for adhering to the appropriate health rules for the purpose of dealing with the human virus. Therefore, in the same way that the action taken against the second wave of covid was taken, all are determined to challenge omicron once again in the joint efforts of the state, the center and the citizens, in which case awareness is the only way.
