Medicine, medical entity এর কদর বর্তমানে যথেষ্ট health sector এ,প্রচুর production ও supply ও হচ্ছে আজকাল।বড়সড় pharmaceutical  company গুলো তাদের ক্রমবর্ধমান ঔষধের চাহিদা মেটাতে ততপর।প্রচুর ঔষধ, drugs,নানা ধরনের ভ‍্যাকসিন বিদেশে রপ্তানি ও করছে প্রতিবছর।এই সমস্ত ঔষধ গুলি কখনও ব‍্যকটেরিয়া,ভাইরাসের structure modified করে,কখনও জৈব,অজৈব পদার্থ থেকে তৈরী করা হয়।প্রতিনিয়ত এর formantation হচ্ছে পুনঃনির্মানের তরফে।এই সমস্ত ঔষধ এর মাইক্রবস,মলিকিউল গুলো তাদের reaction ও change করে বাতাসের অক্সিজেন,কার্বন ডাই অক্সাইড,নাইট্রোজেন,নানা রকম প্রটোজোয়া, ব‍্যকটেরিয়া ও জৈব পদার্থের সাথে নির্দিষ্ট সময় সীমার পরে।সে কারনে অ‍্যারমেটিক ও মেডিসিন এর মত পদার্থে expire date দেওয়া থাকে।প্রকৃত অর্থে যেসমস্ত medical materials আমাদের পরিবেশের সঙ্গে মিশে কোন বড় ক্ষতি করে না তার ক্ষেত্রে সমস্যা না থাকলেও কিছু মেডিসিন অনেক ক্ষেত্রেই  রাসায়নিক সার ও কীটনাশকের মত ক্ষতি করে। বেশ কিছু জায়গায় govt সচেতন হওয়ায় customers দের ক্রয় করা বাড়তি ঔষধ গুলো যে কোন pharmacy তে return নেয়,কিন্তু ভারতে সার্বিক ক্ষেত্রে এর return নিতে চায় না retailer রা তাদের মুনাফা  কমানোর জন‍্য কিন্তু সেই বাড়তি মেডিসিন পরিবেশে ফেলা হলে পরিবেশর মাটি,জল,বায়ু দূষিত করে।ভাবছেন এ আর এমন কি জিনিস?এটাকে নিয়ে কেন এত highlight করা।অবশ‍্যই highlight তো করতেই হবে,হিসাব করলে দেখা যায় প্রতিবছর কত মূল‍্যবান ঔষধ নষ্ট হয় প্রতিটি পরিবারেই।কত দামি ঔষধ অনেক দরিদ্র পরিবার কেনার মত ক্ষমতাই রাখে না। retailers রাও customers দের কাছ থেকে ঔ অতিরিক্ত ঔষধ কিনতেই চান না,তাতে বড় কম্পানির production ও বাড়াতে হয় ক্রমাগত,customers দের ঔ অতিরিক্ত ঔষধ অনেকটাই সেই যোগান কমিয়ে দিতে পারে,দরিদ্ররাও ঔষধ পায় সাথে পরিবেশ ও কম ক্ষতি হয়।বিশ্বের বেশ কিছু দেশে এই অতিরিক্ত ঔষধের return নেওয়া হয় যা ঐ দেশের কিছুটা ঘার্তি কমিয়ে মুনাফা বৃদ্ধিতেও সাহায্য করে।এই একই পদ্ধতি আমাদের দেশেও হওয়া প্রয়োজন আর তাই govt কে একটু সচেতন হতে হবে এবং সেই সঙ্গে ঔষধ কম্পানির মুনাফা ও বৃদ্ধি পাবে।সুতরাং recollection, proper distribution, maintenance, recycling, perfect supply  ও এই পদ্ধতিতে employment generate করে drugs company গুলোর মুনাফা বৃদ্ধি করা অত‍্যাবশ‍্যক।
