Tourism industry and its impact today
পর্যটন শিল্প, ভারতের একটি বৃহত শিল্প। যা প্রতিবছর ভারতের অর্থনৈতিক ক্ষেত্রে GDP growth এর ১২ -১৩ % বৃদ্ধিতে সাহায্য করে।এই পর্যটন শিল্পের দরুন দেশী, বিদেশী এবং বিদেশে বসবাসকারী ভারতীয়দের এই দেশে টেনে আনে ভারতের পর্যটনশিল্পের মহাত্মকে অনুভব করানোর জন্য। কোভিদ পরিস্থিতি আজ তার ইতি টেনেছে। এই ভাইরাসের প্রাদুর্ভাবের ফলে প্রায় ৬০ % আয় এই পর্যটন শিল্পের ক্ষেত্রে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে। ৫০ মিলিয়ন চাকরি চলে গেছে কোন না কোন ভাবে আর তার মধ্যে ৩৮ মিলিয়ন চাকরি সরাসরি ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে। UN এর রিপোর্ট অনুসারে বিগত পাঁচ মাসে বিশ্ব পর্যটন শিল্পে প্রায় ৩২০ আরব ডলার লোকসান হয়েছে যা বিগত ১০০ বছরের ইতিহাসে নেই। তাই এই শিল্পের সঙ্গে যুক্ত থাকা পরোক্ষ বা প্রত্যক্ষ মানুষ গুলো আজ খুব খারাপ সময়ের সঙ্গে জীবিকা নির্বাহ করছে।
এখন যদি বলা হয় যে কি কি ক্ষেত্রের মানুষ গুলো ত্রতে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে? এখন সেটাতেই একটু চোখ রাখা যাক।
প্রধানত হোটেল বা রেষ্টুরেন্ট এর সমস্ত অধিকারিক, পর্যটন ক্ষেত্রের ছোট, বড়, মাঝারি ক্রেতা ও বিক্রেতা, গনমাধ্যমের জন্য যানবাহনের মালিক ও শ্রমিক, বিনোদন এর জন্য enterteiner, পর্যটন ক্ষেত্রের সাধারণ নাগরিকদের ক্ষেত্রে food supplyer, কাঁচা মাল ও পাঁকা মাল দুই ক্ষেত্রেই, Electricity facility, বস্রবয়ন শিল্প, এরকম প্রায় প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রই দুর্বল হয়ে পড়েছে এই প্রকোপের হাত ধরে। তাই পর্যটন শিল্পকে যথেষ্ট গুরুত্ব দিয়ে রাজ্য সরকার ও কেন্দ্রসরকারের উদ্যোগে কিছু পদ্ধতি বা নীতি গ্রহন করা উচিৎ যাতে এই tourist industry কে আগের অবস্থায় ফেরানো সম্ভব হয়।যেখানে বিশ্বে প্রায় ২৮ টি দেশ কেবলমাত্র পর্যটন শিল্পকে ঢাল করে অর্থনৈতিক বুনিয়াদকে এগিয়ে চলে, সেখানের govt যদি এই industry কে আরও এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাবার উদ্দেশ্যে কিছু সুযোগ সুবিধা দিয়ে থাকে তো ভারতের ক্ষেত্রে ও এই পর্যটন শিল্পকে আরও উন্নতির শিখরে পৌঁছে দেওয়া সম্ভব। তাই কিছু প্রয়োজনীয় নীতি নীচে উল্লিখিত করা হল -
1) পর্যটন শিল্পে অংশগ্রহণকারী অংশীদার এবং পর্যটকদের মধ্যে পর্যটন শিল্প বিকাশের কৌশলগুলো ও উৎসাহ উন্মুক্ত করতে হবে, যাতে পর্যটন ক্ষেত্র থেকে সামাজিক, সাংস্কৃতিক ও পরিবেশগত সুবিধার বাস্তবতা প্রকাশ পায়।
2) পর্যটন ক্ষেত্রের মধ্যে creative & positive investment হতে হবে সাথে sustainable development এও উৎসাহ প্রকাশ করতে হবে।
3) এই sector এর ক্ষেত্রে কতটা sustainable development সম্ভব হয়েছে তার একটি রিপোর্ট publish করতে হবে।
4) পর্যটক ক্ষেত্রের সঙ্গে জরিত কোন্ হোটেল, tourist sport, airlines এবং cruise lines গুলি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তা sectorwise বাছাই করতে হবে।
5) পর্যটন ক্ষেত্রে অর্থনৈতিক মনোনিবেশের সঙ্গে উন্নয়নশীল পরিকল্পনা ও গঠন করতে হবে। দেশী ব্যবসায়ীদের পুজি লঘ্নিতে আরও উৎসাহ বাড়াতে হবে যাতে দেশী বা বিদেশী পর্যটক ভারতে visiting এর জন্য আসে।
6) বর্তমান পরিস্থিতিকে সামনে রেখে govt এর তরফ থেকে পুঁজিপতিদের উপর কিছু ছাড় দেওয়া উচিৎ যাতে পুনরায় তারা অর্থনৈতিক নিবেশ করতে সক্ষম হয়।
7) একটু একটু করে proper sanitation পদ্ধতি ও distance maintaining এর মধ্যে যাতে অন্তত ৫০ % restaurant, hotel, tourist spots খোলা যায় তারদিকে নজর দিতে হবে।
8) ট্রেন চলাচলকে কিছু কিছু করে একটু ছাড় দিতে হবে।
তাতে এই পর্যটন শিল্পের বর্তমান পরিস্থিতি ঘুরে দাঁড়াতে পারে।

5) Develop and plan development with economic focus on tourism. We need to increase the interest of local businessmen in raising capital so that domestic or foreign tourists can visit India.
6) Given the current situation, the government should give some concessions to the capitalists so that they can re-invest.
7) Little by little proper sanitation system and distance maintaining so that at least 50% of restaurants, hotels, tourist spots can be opened.
8) The train movement should be given a little discount by doing something.
